Considering that over 3,100 of the beloved Muppet characters have been created over the years, it shouldn’t be surprising that many have been overlooked and forgotten. Such was the case with Rufus Bunnybutt, who made a fleeting appearance in the equally obscure 1987 TV special A Very Muppet Arbor Day.

Funny but also kind of freaky, especially when the “mouth” opens ? LOL!!!
Split personality. One half looks horrified.
Disapproval at both ends!
LOL!
Still better than the post-Henson Muppet stuff Disney makes. [I’m a Muppet purist.] Cute little bunny with Neopolitan-ice cream type coloring.
THANK YOU! I gave up on them after Muppet Treasure Island.
Cute bunny tho.
Bunny butts are so cute, especially as they’re hopping away or laying on their belly with their legs stretched behind them.
Guess you can’t sneak up on this bunny…
Yes, he’s got eyes in the back of his, um…
