If you have one of those older dishwashers, you know the drill: You have to wash the dishes before they go into the dishwasher. But not as long as Tiny Tim the miniature donkey is on the job to lick the dishes clean! “Why do I bother with a rinse?” laments Tiny’s mom.
Why indeed, Paul P.?
My one criticism is that, given Tim’s propensity for dish lickage, I would place knives and forks with the sharp bits pointed down. Other than that, I am so jealous!!!!!!! I need a mini-donkey, dammit! 🙂
I find that if i leave them down, they don’t get clean, pointing up they seem to have more direct contact with the water jets.
But more importantly, why didn’t Tina’s Mom just close the dishwasher? My guess is that this is a treat/bonding for both Tina and Mom.
And most importantly, how soft are Tiny’s ears?
“And most importantly, how soft are Tiny’s ears?”
Yes, a crucial question.
Yes OMG the ears!
Is he available for rent? Usually after dinner- clean up time is roughly 8pm to 9pm at my house. Send him on by.
That fuzzy mane had me squeeing.
House Donkey. Epic.
I am NOT being a ’nuffer (am I even using that word correctly? — it sounds like it derived from “enough” but means “not at all”) but this is yet another example of the human telling the pet not to do something and then letting him keep doing it because it’s cute and she’s shooting a video. How are the animals ever going to learn when we’re serious? Inconsistent discipline is not good for anybody. Put the plates down and let the donkey lick them till he’s satisfied (if ever), THEN put them in the dishwasher. Still, amazingly cute, and shows donkeys must be omnivorous like goats are.
Nufer comes from Cute Overload (as far as I know) and refers to people complaining that something is ‘not cute enough.’
And yes, I had the same thought. He isn’t going to learn not to do something if you don’t actually make him stop.
I’ve always assumed it comes from the rhetoric cliche “Enough is enough!”.
Also.Eww.
