So me and my twin brother Timmy wanted to grow an orange tree because we thought it would be cool to have oranges whenever we wanted, so we put a bunch of orange seeds in the ground and sprinkled some water on it and nothing happened. “Maybe it needs more water,” said Timmy, so I poured some more water on and nothing happened.
“You gotta use some of that Super-Gro fertilizer,” said Timmy, so I dumped in a whole box of it and poured on some more water and nothing happened. “What about that stuff Dad uses, supposed to make hair grow?” said Timmy, so I got the whole bottle and poured it on and nothing happened, except now it was all muddy and I slipped and fell into the mud and got wet all over. And then something happened.

That story seems a little far-fetched to me…
Not to me!
Far. Fetched. Fetched. I get it.
There’s something very familiar about this story… Oh, right. “Klamath Falls, 1963. OK, so me and my friend Danny get to go camping, except Danny’s mom said that Danny’s sister Marlys had to come too, and my mom made me take my brother Ralph and said we couldn’t hike fast on account of he has asthma and stuff….” Still my all-time favourite NTMTOM story.
I went to look it up on the old ranch, and it looks like the site is gone. ?
Indeed, the old ranch appears to be out of commission. That appears to have happened last June. If you want to read the Klamath Falls story, click here to view it on the Internet Archive.
Oh, thank you, Mike!
And yay for Internet Archive!
Fourth of July–the perfect day to remember hallowed American traditions. And websites.
Three hours after first reading this post, Duckie finally clues in.
Aware that the heat is causing thinking impairment, Duckie decided that if wombats can go nekkid, so can ducks.
Streeeeeeeeeeeakerrrrrrrrrrrrrr ??
🙂
That dog is insanely photogenic.
The doggie’s head is… freaking my brain out! Sort of looks superimposed or concave or something…. maybe I just need more coffee.
