Alternate Earth Nature Channel

Tonight on “Hard-Working Animals,” we meet the dog-herding sheep of Old Zealand. The herding instincts of this amazing animal not only allow it to wrangle whole packs of dogs, but herd them safely into the truck and also drive the truck back to the farm because apparently sheep can drive in this reality.

Wait, this… this isn’t right.

This just seems fairer somehow, Sharon H.

      Sheepbelt?

PS, Mike, I didn’t get an email notification for this post…also I just looked at the prior post about the “cheese”burger and even though I’m subscribed to comment notifications there are a bunch of comments that I didn’t get emails for, either. (Haven’t looked further than that.)

Makes me wonder if NOMTOM saw the same article I stumbled across yesterday, about how New Zealand was named for Zeeland, the Netherlands.

Lol, always wondered how people back home felt about all these places being branded as the “New” version of themselves. “What are we ‘old’ now, no, we’re ‘original’, ‘classic’“.

        Hi from New Jersey!

You don’t hear much about Old Jersey, do you? They’re probably having a cow.

No we don’t 🙂 who’s more well know in the world – Jersey or New Jersey? I feel like New Jersey, because Bruce Springsteen.

In cases like New Jersey at least we had the courtesy of acknowledging the original. I came from a town called Devon in PA. We straight up stole that name and pretended there’s not a place with that name in England already 🙂

Bruce Springsteen is from My Hometown. 😉

Sheepy looks so relaxed! That’s not how I’d imagine an ovine reaction.
