I had a hard enough time with math in school. While this would have improved morale while workingp, it wouldn’t jave done much for my already-pathetic grade…

(I was going wait and post in the open thread tomorrow; I posted an update last night in the other thread, in case anyone missed it. Stripes is playing with Pablo over the rainbow now.)
I asked a little while ago if Stars was looking for him yet, and my mom said, “Hard to tell. He’s been away overnight before. Last night I put her treats where his would go in the kitchen but she looked around and wouldn’t go to eat them. I put them by the fireplace and she went and ate them.”
(They had to get their treats separately or he would try to eat hers, too. He would get his first and then she got hers while he was busy eating.)
So she must think he’s around somewhere.

So sorry to hear that, Allein. Know that you did the right thing and spared your baby a lot of suffering.
I echo what Benvolio said. This is always a hard decision, but often the kindest thing is to bring an end to pain and suffering. I know that you and Stars will see one another through this.
