It’s morning, and wombat joeys Wills and Spud are having their first bottles of the day. The youngsters in the care of ACT Wildlife Australia will get two bottles every day, plus sweet potato and plenty of hay to chew on. As Spud gets fed, impatient Wills tries to help himself, but soon he gets his turn. Speakers up to hear the gentle slurping sounds! (via Monica M.)

So sweet! Isn’t Wills the one who had to take tummy medicine last week?
That’s right. He recovered well. Thank you for your interest. Wills’ mum.
Smiley little wombat face!
Womby-womby-womby, womble-womble-womble … Wombat Wednesdays turn my brain to mush.
Yep. You can feel every motherly cell/gene in your body become activated. 😛
Me, too, RM! Condolences on the loss of your beloved Ricky…
The adorable look of pure bliss on both faces!! 😀 Would so love to have that job.
Those faces are so sweet. I’d give just about anything for that job.
Adorable little fuzzy tanks!
Yippee for Wombat Wednesdays!
Yeah!
Hello from Spud and Wills’s mum. The two boys are now over 16 kg and off bottles and ready to release back into the bush in a few weeks. They are still gentle natured boys, thankfully.
Thanks Lindy for the update. It’s great to have you take the time and let us know what’s going on with our favorite wombats.
Thanks for the happy news.
