Legends of Vaudeville

From humble beginnings in the Flatbush Dog Pound in 1918, the beloved song and dance team of Bones and Jones, aka The Fabulous Barker Boys, entertained audiences up and down the Eastern Seaboard until their retirement in the mid-1920’s.

“I met a man, said he hadn’t had a bite all day. So I bit him!”

My parents saw them at Grossingers. Said their act was fantastic. “Two really good boys!”

I never made it to Grossingers. My grandparents and parents did. They loved the brisket!
