Slightly OT, but I’m reminded of a couple of TV shows I watched whilst on holiday in Italy about 20 years ago. One of them was an episode of a drama series about the adventures of an Italian police dog; the second was a variety show ‘hosted’ by the dog who played the leading role in the crime drama. It was wonderfully surreal.
Italy has the most surreal game shows! I can’t remember all the details but I once saw an Italian gameshow that was part cooking contest, part Weakest Link, part Spanish Inquisition!
I wasn’t expecting that last part.

Reminds me of those samoyeds howling along with a passing siren. Maybe they were police dogs in training.
