From sender-innersย Karen F. and AJ, here’s a once-in-a-lifetime video of a sea lion slapping a kayaker with an octopus.

Fun fact about Hannah Shaw, aka Kitten Lady – her dad is Tommy Shaw, from Styx.

I love that seal giving the yob in the kayak the ‘sucker punch special’. (Poor octopus though.)

Haha, yeah. I feel bad for the octopus, but that didn’t stop me from laughing. It’s just so ridiculous! You’ve gotta wonder what was going through the sea lion’s head.

It left me wondering, who was the seal mad at, the kayaker, or the octopus?

As for varieties of meows, several of ours have a “distress yowl” which means “I am about to barf on the carpet!” Good signal to come running with some newspaper and try to get it in front of them before they do it.
