In this quirky little cartoon sent in by Thérèse B., a determined cat rises above mundane kibble to claim the tuna dinner he deserves, urged on by the strains of “O, Fortuna” by Carl Orff. Along the way, we learn two important lessons: In cartoon world, kitchen furniture is made from balsa wood, and anything’s a can opener if you’re brave enough.
Very cute. And this proves once and for all that cats are liquid with a furry outer coating to contain it all. Also, either the kitchen is made out of balsa or that’s one very hefty kitty!
He kinda looks like Stitch.
Hahahahaha. Hahahahaha.
A tale for the ages. Kittehs everywhere can draw inspiration and courage from this heroic quest.
I love “O, fortuna!”
This definitely is not my cat, she does not like tuna. Refuses to eat anything tuna flavor.
One of my dogs, on the other hand, LOVED tuna or pretty much any fish. I used to spend a fortune on no-sodium tuna to indulge the silly boy. 🙂
I realy want the lyrics for this.
Here are the lyrics for you. Latin and then English translation follows.

Local choral society did this piece a couple of years ago as part of their holiday concert.
Am I the only one who found this video disturbing?
