When we last met Vicki, the little wombat joey was in the care of ACT Wildlife and looking a little wobbly. Although she was small, one thing about her was already growing: Her long wombat claws!
In this video from last August, Vicki has grown into those claws — a little bit.
Do they put mittens on baby wombats to prevent them from scratching themselves?
Ouches in the pouches! How does that work?!
Adorable unfinished baby.
How long before they get fur?
I like wombats going commando!
Yes! Nakey Baby Wombats
How dear is this! All those little stretches and tentative movements – just like any baby, any species. Wonderment.
