“It’s my human, doc. I’m having a lot of trouble establishing a sense of trust with her when we play. She’s always saying ‘I’ll throw the football, and you run and catch it.’ But will she really? What if she doesn’t? What if I run all that way just to see her laughing at me? That would be devastating to my self-esteem. What do you think I should do, doc?”
This all seems so… familiar, Sharon H.
Now I have the Peanuts theme song in my head (which is what I wake up to in the morning, actually).
What is the Peanuts theme song? Vince Guaraldi?
Yes; I think the real title is “Linus and Lucy.” (I’d post a link but I don’t have sound on my computer here to make sure it’s the right one.)
Thought so 🙂 What a good tune to wake up to! https://youtu.be/x6zypc_LhnM
Btw, if you haven’t already, check out his trio’s ‘Cast Your Fate to the Wind’ Black Orpheus album, it is just as good.
That’s my weekday alarm. On weekends it’s a dubstep version of Für Elise. (For a little while I had “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons but the clip is too short and it repeats and it got annoying. I was afraid it would make me start to hate the full song so I changed it back.)

I will look it up when I get home tonight. 🙂
I have loved “Cast Your Fate to the Wind” ever since I can remember! It is SO beautiful — thank you for reminding me of it! I will now have a lovely earworm, as opposed to the normally obnoxious kind.
Oh wonderful Laura; my absolute pleasure!
There’s no Pug like an old Pug. Love them!
