Boxer dog leads emu on a merry chase!
Plenty of dogs like to chase birds, but how often do you see a dog being chased by one? That’s the game that Daisy the boxer dog loves to play with her pal, an emu. Around and around the tree they go, with Daisy slowing down now and then to give her feathered friend a sporting chance.
They both seem to be having a blast.
That reminds me of two cats I had, they loved chasing one another up and down the hall.

I thought it was fun to watch their stunts. My favorite bits were where the runner would hide (behind the wall and by the steps) and wait for the biker to zoom past. A great way to build up anticipation. What a beautiful place they are in! It speaks to the creativity of the group that they were able to use what they had to set up and make work the shots they accomplished.
Entertaining and very imaginative. Maybe because I’m a lawyer, almost the first thing I thought was, wait a minute, they’re constantly trespassing on private property!
Dubravka, Austria is a very open place. There are very few places where you can’t go for a walk, even if it looks like private property, which is difficult for me as an American to wrap my head around. Even the officially designated trails often take you through someone’s barnyard and you end up chatting with the farmer. Sometimes they even offer you something to eat or drink!
Oh wow! Besides the excellent competition and editing we can see how a neighborhood looks where you are. Such a beautiful combination of homes and countryside. And the mountain!
That chase was as good as any I’ve seen on tv or movies.

Dog to Emu: “We’ve got to change directions or I’m gonna barf!”
The change of direction is my favorite part. Whenever we are in a circular activity, my go to joke is, “Ok, time to unwind!”
