(… after the bath, should I go straight for the mani-pedi, or should I put in some time in the sauna first? Will that leave enough time for the ex-fur-iating facial treatment?)

I could really use a spa day. If there are kittens, even better.
You’re not alone. I envy this kitty. Once I am fully able to move more
easily (spinal fusion surgery/cancer in spine) I will treat myself to a spa.
Now there’s incentive!
You do that for yourself, Phred’s Mom! You deserve it after what you’ve been through. Good to see you back!
thanks, danke!
Indeed. If you can find a spa with a saltwater bath, I recommend it as super-relaxing. Also a nice massage if you can get a good therapist who will understand how to treat sensitive areas around your spine. Rooting for you!
Hi Phred’s Mom! 🙂
You should absolutely treat yourself, Phred’s Mom, and I hope that day comes soon!
Phred’s Mom, I hope you get your spa day very very soon. So good to have you back with us in comments.
I had spinal fusion surgery a few years ago (for degenerative arthritis in my spine, less serious cause than yours, obviously!), it took longer than I expected to get fully back to functional. Hang in there, though, it really does happen eventually, especially if you have a physical therapist who is as “encouraging” as mine was!
Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions, everyone.
I actually got teary at all the sweet messages. *snif*
Cannot believe that kitty is taking a bath that calmly….
Kitty doesn’t look very happy. I think another mimosa is in order. I’ll treat.
I was thinking the same thing. That kitty seems quite relaxed. I thought cats and water don’t usually go together. However my daughter can bathe her cat. Well so much for that thought.
I don’t know, it does not look upset upset. More resigned to its fate.
Any way you want, kitty – you’re perfect just the way you are.
Deep thought: “Wouldn’t that be a pedi-pedi?”
Or just “pedi”?
