Recreational chemicals? Well I just came home with a bottle of codeine cough syrup, so we’ll see what happens…
Just read through the paperwork that came with it…holy crap this stuff is scary…!
But you’ll stop coughing and as an added bonus, it knocks you out. I’ve had it before and WOW, it makes you sleep like nothing else will.
I should probably take it early, then, so I can get up in time for breakfast tomorrow! He told me to take it for five days (after asking if I had to work this week; I don’t) and also gave me one day worth of something else so I can be awake for Christmas. (He also asked if I was planning to drink tomorrow. I normally might have one or two at most, but not if I’m taking medicine. I’m trying to drink lots of water, so I will probably just stick with that.) Also said don’t be hugging anyone or sharing food. I guess the extra little travel hand sanitizers I picked up at Bath & Body Works (I was getting two for gifts but they were 5 for whatever ridiculously low price so I grabbed three more) will come in handy (hah!) after all.
I just don’t like taking medicine. The drug information sheets are always terrifying. Especially ones that come with five pages of information and say “this could kill you!” (okay, it doesn’t say that, exactly, but that’s the gist).

It looks like this puppers has already been sampling the “recreational chemicals” already, lol. But I’ll gladly go over and read a bedtime story to send him off to dreamland.

That is one cutie-pie of a pupster – very eager. I wish everyone a most Happy Holiday (insert your favorite) and a Hopeful New Year. I have to admit I’m an unabashed Christmas maven (I love cross-cultural references as well) and have been decorating, cleaning, cooking, baking like a mad woman and am, by now, pretty pooped and ready to snuggle with this adorable pooch.
