At the end of the Cretaceous period, as the last of the dinosaurs struggled to survive, they faced challenges from newly-emerging mammal species, who were better suited to the changing environment. Among these was the Giant Kitten (felis maxumus), who in addition to being a fierce predator, was so gosh-darned cute that it often reduced its victims to helpless babbling.
More like the Cute-taceous period, Sharon H.
Cutest extinction event ever.
Deth-by-teh-cute? Sounds good to me. You may count my upvote as a peer-review.
And I for one welcome our new feline overlords.
Completely unrelated but dinosaurs and cuteness made me think of it. My nephew got a T-Rex toy for Christmas that he just fell in love with. He calls it Rex, of course, and bring it to daycare with him. He told his mom, “Rex is my best friend.”
That is really sweet.
That is cute, not about baby animals but still cute.
OMG I went to B&N and wandered a bit and saw this book and it is adorable so I looked for a link to share and found a video of a little kid reading it! We Don’t Eat Our Classmates
(Ryan T. Higgins also writes the Mother Bruce books which I love and highly recommend.)
That was an amusing story. Such a fun way to teach children about empathy.
How is there one school out there without a zero tolerance policy?
Want to buy that little one a big matching lunchbox with ponies so that she has lots of snacks so that she stops eating her classmates
Did you notice her bedspread is also ponies?
And seriously, not even a time out for eating your classmates?!
