Tips for Multi-Cat Households

In a household with multiple cats, many homeowners make the mistake of feeding their cats from a communal bowl, thinking that it will encourage camaraderie. In fact, cats insist on personal space, and prefer separate bowls as shown in figure 1 below.

With the bowls spaced apart, cats are able to enjoy a meal without unpleasant crowding, so that… that mealtimes may… be harmonious and… Oh, never mind.
