In the early dawn hours, as the sun rises over the grasslands, the Wombat King climbs to his place at the top of Wombat Rock. He must call to the tribe to share the jubilant news: the birth of the young prince Simba. With all his strength, he opens his mouth and lets out a mighty… um, honk? Screech? Gargle? Accordion solo? I dunno, whatever noise wombats make.

Majestic.
Utterly!
I’m imagining a Tarzan yell. Or maybe a Godzilla screech.
Can someone explain Blayvin to me?
Pretty sure that its a chaser to a Gargle Blaster
It’s my go-to “Jerry Lewis” noise, but I’m actually misquoting him. It should be “flaven!”

Thanks, Mike! As much as I hang out on the Internet, I feel out of the loop somehow!
Unless you’re old enough to have watched movies with Jerry Lewis in them, it’s no surprise you wouldn’t have heard of it.
Cinderfella!
My very first thought was Jerry Lewis but when I googled it, that didn’t seem to be the case. Nice to know I was right – and being on the same track as Mike, if only for the briefest of moments, totally makes my day,
Mike, this gets funnier every time I read it!
All I can think of is the honking cat from yesterday.
Me too.
Yes!
Allen! Allen! Allen!
oh no, wait maybe that Steve..
Steve! Steve! Steve!
Count me in. Though like Duckie I thought of honking cat.
That was such a great dub video.
Oh! Thanks for reminding me of that one.
oh Yay! Thank you for posting this!
“‘Tis the voice of the Wombat: I heard him declare “You have baked me too brown, I must sugar my hair.'” (w/apologies to Lewis Carroll).
