I just adore Love Meow!!! And I have to have a Confuse-a-Cat!
*scoops up confuzzled kitty, grabs bag and runs*
Bag Kitty rules. Other Kitty not the smartest floof in the universe!
Portal!
Bless his heart,
I hope the people who abandoned their ragdoll kitty get their just deserts (I checked – it’s the right spelling). I feel strongly that kittens hugging stuffies is top-of-the-line cute. It can be equalled but not surpassed.
Agreed on both counts. Why get a pet if you’re just going to leave it behind? And if you truly can’t take it with you, find a home or a shelter. Don’t just leave your domestic animal to fend for itself.
I have a pic of my mom snuggling Stripes snuggling a stuffed frog. It’s just adorable.
That’s a wonderful picture to have of both of them.
(And yes, it’s “deserts”…because they should get what they deserve. And they don’t deserve dessert.)
LOl I’m guessing that’s not really the etymology but it should be.
It is:
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/deserts
“If a person gets their just deserts they get what they deserve. Deserts here is related to deserve, and is spelled with one -s- in the middle; a dessert is a sweet course eaten at the end of a meal. The -ss- spelling in the sense ‘what a person deserves’ is regarded as an error, although in the Oxford English Corpus it is as common as the correct spelling”
Or they should be simply left behind in the desert – because that’s what they deserve!
Yes!
Agreed. And agreed.
If I ever open a bakery/chocolate shop, I’ll call it Just Desserts.
Not to stomp on your righteous nuffing! People who deliberately leave pets behind are not cool. But sometimes accidents do happen–my darling Billiebub got lost that way.
It’s as though Caturday came early! Love all these beautiful kitkats and their rescuers. Bag Kitten rocks.
