Maru wishes to sleep. Fortunately, there is always a box handy where he can nap in private. Maru takes his privacy seriously, because Hana is always trying to grasp his whereabouts. Maru, quite reasonably, does not want Hana to grasp his whereabouts because it tickles. After Hana abandons the search, a disembodied hand reveals Maru’s whereabouts. This enrages Maru, who responds by napping angrily. Finally, the hand closes the box, and Maru’s whereabouts are safe.

      I was wondering if that was a euphemism. Remember “unmentionables” ? Now they’re worn outside our clothes.
