I love that the Cat Man of Aleppo is still doing his thing, and that he is able to keep his sense of humor through all the horrors of his city.

OMG Yes!! What an amazing variety visit her yard. I hear them but don’t see too many birds in my area but then again I’m in a more urban location.
Birds are so amazing – they’re gorgeous AND they can FLY! The Museum of Natural History here in New York has a new exhibit about T Rex. The new models have feathers! That birds are descended from dinosaurs just adds to their amazingness. Did I mention that they can fly?
I really should get up to the Natural History museum one of these days. I haven’t been since I was in school, probably.
Yesterday I was sitting by the window at the end of the office area at work (which juts out from the rest of the building so I was looking at the rest of the front wall of the warehouse). I was reading and playing a game (I read on my ereader while the game is loading the next screen on my tablet – multitasking!) and glanced up to see a flock of birds cascading down off the roof. (Not sure what kind they were; smallish and black.) I got up and looked out and they were pecking at the ground, having lunch, and all rose up several feet and then back down about four or five times, then flew up into a pine tree next to the building, then took off out of sight. It was awesome. Also there were snow flurries happening which made it even better.
The Cat Man has me in tears. What an incredible soul.
Thank goodness for dancing goats. Only the presence of AOC in that video, dancing along, could make it better.

Great set of links today but someone really needs to stop stirring up the dust so early in the morning as my allergies were acting up. I was really surprised about the dog climbing that high but he must be used to the altitude, loved how they fixed up a harness and rope system for him so he didn’t fall off the mountain. And can’t say enough good things about the cat man of Aleppo, if there’s ever a book about animal heroes, his picture would be on the cover.
The cat man of Aleppo deserves the cover of the often requested coffee table book if NTMTOM ever decide to make one.
