Traffic safety video for cats drives the point home
On Japan’s busy streets, cats need to be careful and smart. But rather than waste time explaining this to cat owners, a Japanese company created a safety video aimed at cats themselves, using all the tricks of feline psychology to keep kitties engrossed. Although no cats were harmed in the making of this video, you may kill off a few brain cells while watching it. (SoraNews24 via Andrew Y.)
I was just thinking we needed a “What is this I don’t even” tag–but Mike came prepared!
There was never a more appropriate use for that expression!
This is one bizarro video. I hope it doesn’t give me nightmares. ?

Oops – someone I double posted, but I can’t delete the one above, as “Dan”. ??
What the …??? Did someone slip something into me tea? My brain hurts. ???
I was afraid I’d missed something and I’d be the only one to say, “Huh???” Apparently I’m in good company. 🙂
OMG, that is hysterical!!! I’m laughing so hard I’m crying. And yes, very much what the H-LL??? As we like to say in CA, someone must have been smoking so good stuff to come up with this video. I would really, really love to know what the subtitles said, someone needs to translate this.

I think the bell from a cat collar, silently rolling onto a street surface, was what really convinced my kitties not to cross without looking both ways.
Just kidding–they’re indoor-only.
Absolutely. It was that little detail that made all the difference.
In the midst of all that weirdness, I nevertheless found that image chilling.
The Sora News article was helpful, but I still wonder what kind of drugs Yellow Hat is on.
It certainly kept my cat engrossed, running around looking for the strange cats meowing in HIS house.
