Every day, life seems to move faster and faster. So many places to be, so many things to do. You’ve got to remember to take the time to smell the flowers. Otherwise, you’ll never know which ones are edible.

It’s a plush poodleRat. Very rare in Canada.
It matches my bathmat… bathmat habitat?
A curly mouse? Will wonders never cease?!
Also, this picture is just so sweet.
Awwww, such a cutie, seems to be enjoying the floral scent and it matches the flower. There’s really a breed called plush Poodle Rat ?
Darling, just a darling photograph. I think this one gets saved for my computer screensaver.
Agree with all of you peeps above! Just a sweetie and a darling. The salon he goes to must be top notch.
I’m picturing dear little mouse in curlers, under the drier.
Sorry to bother you again, Mike, but after thinking I had solved my problem (clearing history, etc) I’m still having to re-enter info. If you’ve given up on this issue, let me know and I’ll stop bugging you.
Love the teensy wee pink feetsies this little
dear has. I mentally kissed them.
Murray, I’m having the same issues.
Went through the history clearing business,
which meant I had to re-enter stuff all over
the place, and still have to enter info here.
After I kvetched about this I found that the next Cutetropolis post I went to everything was filled in. I’m wondering if my issue is that I just have to fill stuff in once a day. Weird. I know it is a pain to erase everything just to accomplish one thing! I don’t know if there’s a way to erase cookies just for one site.
Same here. I have to re-enter my Cutetropolis information most, but not all, of the time.
Little curlers! ?
If a Devon Rex cat mated with this mouse, there’d be over-the-top curls.
The first thing I thought of when I saw this photo was “Is this the mouse equivalent of a Devon Rex cat?”
I love how the peenk peeks through the white fur. What a great critter.
Oh and by the by, for the folks who expressed concerns over the corgi in the snow a few posts ago…no worries! I asked a corgi owner about their interactions with snow and after looking at the post he laughed and said “yup, that’s a corgi”! He assured me that corgis love the snow and burrowing is quite common.
That’s a relief.
Having looked at this again and read the pseudo-wine-tasting sort of description, I was reminded (and forgive me if I’ve said this before) of my SIL’s favorite description of a
wine – “….broad-shouldered with a lingering farewell”. Ah, the pretension.
“This flower is no ‘hedonistic fruit-bomb’”.
Ha! And I make fun of my husband whenever he describes a wine as “chewy.” I’ll have to break this on out on him!
That’s probably the same as “jammy”…a wine that is syrupy/fruity. You feel like chewing it?
One of my favorite Thurber cartoon captions:
“It’s a naïve domestic burgundy without any breeding, but I think you’ll be amused by its presumption.”
Good one! ? Now just to pull it out of the air when I need it…
Aw, this picture is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen today!
Love his wavy locks!
