Today is National Puppy Day (although the Twitterati has been celebrating since yesterday) and with perfect timing, here’s an adorable puppy from reader Doreen G., who adds: “Hi – We love this picture from the first time our daughter (recent sender-inner Sally G) and her family met George, who’s 12, and decided to adopt him. Cute enough for Cutetropolis?” Yes indeed!

      Yes, I want to mention again that he’s 12, not a puppy anymore…but he’s as cute as any puppy! And is a very amiable gent.
