I Don’t Touch the Hutch Much

I don’t need to sleep in the hutch. It’s such a nice morning — the sun is out, the birds are singing — now, why would I want to be cooped up in some cold, smelly rabbit hutch when I could be basking in the warm heat of this fine spring morning and he’s still in there, isn’t he?

Yeeeee-up. (Pixabay)

After this precious bunnh is done sunning itself, he/she can come to my house and have its own space. Iโ€™m a bit concerned since I donโ€™t see any protective enclosure around the hutch. Even if there is a fence around it is not enough to protect it, the cat proves that. Perhaps this has been converted to a dog/cat house?

Aww poor bun bun, he’s been evicted. Funny but even after all that, I don’t register much disapproval just resignation.

This used to happen with my buns and cat – the cat would go to sleep in the bun cage – which was open but in an enclosure (inside!!!) and the bunnies would be hanging out outside their own cage. Now, with my little Fergus being so terrified of the cat I can’t allow any interaction – and Clemmie would probably terrorize the cat anyway.

Bun has learned catlike behaviors–I didn’t want to go in there anyway!
