(As her royal barge wends its way down the waters of the mighty Nile river, the great queen Cleopatra maintains her regal bearing as she acknowledges the cheers and well-wishes of her loyal subjects…)

The famously beautiful Cleopatra! What gorgeous markings!
I’ll Cleopet’ya!
π ! You’ve had your coffee this morning Allein!
I don’t drink coffee. π
What the?? Don’t drink coffee?? I am not familiar with this mode of existence ππ΅.
I drink a lot of tea…
For Christmas, the company I get my loose tea from had a special free-with-purchase limited flavor called Reindeer Fuel. Black tea (high in caffeine), toasted matΓ© (also high in caffeine), cocoa nibs, chocolate flavor, peppermint, and ginger. I just finally opened it a week or so ago and I’m kinda sad I can’t order more. (Though even then it wasn’t available to order on its own; you had to spend a certain amount ($49, if I recall correctly).) When I’m being too lazy to deal with loose tea my usual is Twinings Irish Breakfast.
I sometimes add some instant espresso powder to hot chocolate but that’s about all the coffee I can do.
(Side note, I recently discovered a podcast called The Pessimist’s Archive and this morning I was listening to the episode about coffee on my way to work.)
Oh wow that Reindeer Fuel sounds like one high octane beverage! One cup and you can zoom that sleigh around the world! Or the equivalent accomplishment that is the average working stiff making it to work on Monday morning with both eyes open.
I’ll admit I was a tad nervous to try it which is why it took me three months to open the bag. The first day I felt a little shaky (two cups in the morning, which is normal amount for me) but that was hours later so I’m not sure it was actually the caffeine. Other than that I didn’t notice any difference from my regular tea. (Also never had mate before but I didn’t notice any particular flavor from that. Then again, I’ve never had chocolate, peppermint and ginger mixed together so maybe I just can’t tell what’s what.)
It sounds like a very nice combination of flavors. But yes the caffeine level is rather high so best taken in small (but luxurious) amounts.
lol…I just went to their site and they have a teaster promotion going on. Find three eggs (and spend $39) and get a free “teaster marshmallow” tea.
Green Rooibos
Marigold
Apricot
Natural flavor
Apple
Sprinkles
Not seeing where the marshmallow comes in…but I do like apricot tea. One of the few flavors I regularly buy in bigger bags.
Might do the egg hunt later but I wasn’t planning to buy stuff.
“Marshmallow Tea”… marshmallow not included ha ha.
In my next life I want to come back as a pampered pet.
Deserves every bit of this pleasure!
The real Cleopatra only *wishes* she was this beautiful!
And you thought the Egyptians worships cats.
That’s a sphinx pose if I ever saw one.
