Watch an orphan wombat take on a stuffed toy!
Little Ed was a wombat who suffered an all-too-familiar fate: His mum was hit by a car, leaving him an orphan. Lucky for him, he was found and brought to a wildlife shelter where he got food, cuddles, and best of all a stuffed bear to pounce upon.

Little Ed is full of mischief. Love how he tumbles onto his back, like a roly poly bug. He doesn’t seem to have an “off” switch.
Who’s chopping onions in here? I have never wanted to cuddle a wombat more than I do right now. Aussie pals, please up your driving instruction, licensing, and skills game. (Not that I think we’re so perfect here in the US.)
Seems Little Ed prefers pouncing on the human’s leg, who tries to distract him with the bear. Good luck with that!
Thanks for the long video today. I needed plenty of wombat this Wednesday.
The dog wisely got out of reach Little Ed’s teeth as fast as he could.
I would totally be Little Ed’s teddy bear. What an adorable face! And so wiggly!
