It’s been like this ever since I was a kitten. I’ve always had this compulsion to knock things onto the floor. Loose change, keys, silverware — if I’m sitting next to it, I just want to knock in off. And it makes me feel so immature, like I can’t control myself. So when I had kittens of my own, I thought: This is the turning point. I’m an adult now, I can give up these childish habits and set a better example for my kids.
Apparently I was wrong.

See, they learn it from the parents, Phred’s Mom.
Yowser! Don’t mess with your Mama!
Get in there! NOW!!! Snerk, that was funny.
After chuckling, I felt bad for the kitty. Poor kitty, probably just barely walking and then trying to learn how to jump down. Talk about “ tough love”.
That was exactly the phrase I thought of on seeing this. Funny – but tough. Fortunately those little bodies are pretty much all cartilage at that point.
heehee! my thoughts exactly, hoo boy, tough love!
OMG, I just sat here watching this over and over again… 😂
Sorry, baby. I’m not laughing at you.
Just admit it. Yes, you are laughing at baby and guess what, so are all the rest of us. This is one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a long time and just proves what jerks cats can be.
Okay, fine. 😸
Reach out and touch someone.
You just made me bust out laughing a second time. 😀
A friend at work *just* told me about this video at lunch, and I didn’t see it until I’d eaten dinner. Hilarious. Cats are jerks.
Well…that kitten has some psychoanalysis sessions in the future. 😉
“Hurry up, you’re making me miss my stories.”
It’s cute when cats knock things off of tables. Not so cute when a human deliberately sets up a scenario in which a kitten whose eyes aren’t even open, who can barely crawl, is dropped 10″ or so.
That’s like five inches.
A shoe box is about 4″ tall, and that cardboard box looks twice the depth of the shoe box in it, plus a bit more. But whatever… this was deliberately set up. Cat sitting on stool (doesn’t look like a lactating mother cat). Box in front of stool, with one bit bridging the gap. A single kitten on that bridge. Push the the shoebox against the side, with a dishtowel in it. Camera waiting for cat to shove an as-yet defenseless kitten off the edge. It’s just a mean thing to do for yucks, and I bet it wasn’t the only time, as human KNEW what was going to happen. Kitten’s one eye is open a little, the other one shut. Maybe cuz it fell on its face before? I can’t see a mother cat doing this… she would be grabbing her baby to carry it to safety.
Looks like the human moved the container so that the kitten would hopefully land on the soft washcloth.
I’ll hold my nuffing for when I see Mother and Human sealing up the box and attaching a UPS sticker.
Addressed to Abu Dhabi, no doubt.
Or with your address, or better, mine.
