Links: Wool You Look at That

Fake animals, switched-off pup, nursing home cats, dog meets duck, and the most determined tongue ever. Plus more.

And finally: Lotsa Lick — er, Luck

After a dog biscuit slides under a fence, a tenacious tongue darts out again and again, determined to regain its prize — or knock it down the stairs in the process. Found at the Daily Mail by Phred’s Mom.

Dog and ducky and their other birdie friends make me happy.

I think that puppy took napping lessons from that dog from last week…

I’m still not 100% convinced those woolly critters aren’t real animals. Amazing! 👍

The dog/duck story makes my heart very happy. ❤

    See? Ducks are sensitive creatures.
Unlike the blue jays that woke me before dawn this morning.
An awful lot of cute for a Monday morning. Worth getting out of bed for.
And then taking all the adorable cuties back to bed with me.

The stumpy little legs on Switched Off Puppy make him look like a pokemon…

I SWEAR that gray cat above is real! Even at the web site l’m fooled by that one. Some of them you’d have to get pretty darn close to decide! The artist needs world renown!

Love the duck and dog, plus all the rescue kitties. That poor puppers–thank goodness for a long prehensile tongue! I laughed, but in person I’d probably have nudged the biscuit under the fence.

Glad you guys like the wool critters. I don’t think it’s the same artist, hinali, whose book I’ve mentioned before. But this person is just as talented.
