In the thumbnail they looked like jellybeans…then I realized they are plastic Easter eggs. For some reason this makes it even better.

If anyone remembers, last Sunday I posted about baby pigeons, on a windowsill on a building across from mine. I see now that the tenants did work and put in a new window. The nest is gone. Mom and Dad are on the window sill looking in and pecking at the sill. I think the babies are dead and gone. It’s heartbreaking.

Oh, no!
Oh no!! This happened (sort of) to my parents. A duck family had nested behind a bush in the front of the house. One of the eggs didn’t hatch. Mama duck came back every day to check on the egg.
