Cat rescuers in Venezuela broke my heart. Can’t even think about looking at the older rescues until my work is done today.
Kitten in a color-changing tube! I’m rewatching “The IT Crowd” and last night hit the episode where Moss designs the abracada-bra, so it was extra magical.

The dogs in onesies was a nice contrast to Venezuelan kitties and elderly rescues. Thanks for giving us some balance.

“Sweet creatures who pass this way once scared and alone… Now you are safe; now you are home.” That sentence alone has me in tears, nevermind the photos of senior animals. My heart just breaks for those creatures who have never known a day of peace or love before being rescued. And they’re the lucky ones. 😢

Links that made me think today and good balance between the cute/funny and educational. After the sanctuary stories, it was good to laugh at animals in onsies and presto-chango cats.
I gave the Venezuelan sanctuary a donation– I hope everyone else will. I hadn’t thought about the abandoned pets of the people who’d fled the appalling inflicted poverty of that beautiful country, but anyone trying to help needs all the donations they can get. Please click on PayPal and help feed (and neuter and medicate) the kids!
The mattress review is adorable! Good job, Henri!

The dogs-in-onesies article includes a link to some hilarious failed panorama photos featuring dogs. Man’s best friend has never looked so disturbing…
