This mama skunk nose how dangerous the street can be, but she’s got enough scents to pull her babies up one at a time. She’ll keep her brood together, one way or the odor.

Just for a moment there I thought the last baby was going to follow Wendell Trashtipper’s example!
Haha! And, Mike your puns are so on point and so funny.
“ One way or the odor”, funny. I so wanted to help that mama with those little stinkers. Glad a car didn’t come by and hit them. And I felt the same way about the mother raccoon and her babies, from the other day. I seriously believe some cruel hoomins, purposely hit animals, especially skunks and possums. I’ve twice had someone say to me that those animals are worthless anyway. I responded that they’re a living being just trying to live their life, as we are and are at the mercy of humans and other predators.
Oh Luv Bunny I was thinking along the same lines. It makes me so sad when animals are labeled as worthless. Such an amazingly ignorant remark! Don’t know why or how we were all created but unfortunately for the animals they have to “share” this planet with the selfish human race. Humans that constantly contaminate and destroy not just habitat but entire species.
Okay. Sorry. I am climbing down off the soap box…
!!!! If one of you goes back down off that curb I’ll wash you in tomato juice!!!!!
Just wanted to say hey, and tell you I have not fallen off the face of the earth. The husband is in the hospital today, had 3 stents put in this morning. He qualified for Medicaid, so the stress of medical bills piling up are gone. He qualified for a special program that covers past medical bills, back through November. I still don’t have internet at home, so I’m taking advantage of the hospital’s free Wi-Fi. Sorry, auto complete put Brian in the name space instead of Patty
