“Fawning” over your local wildlife ? *GRINS*
Yep – you said it!
Nice!
Bambi blep!
Is the baby in the second picture named Stewie?
That’s my all-time favorite episode of Family Guy so that’s exactly where my mind went too. 😃
I have seen exactly one full episode of Family Guy (the one where the daughter is sick and only gets the religion channel on the TV in her room and turns into a religious nut and tries to convert the dog as a result), but I have seen that “mom” clip a million times.
Reminds me of a story my mom wrote down from when I was around 4 or so. I was playing in the backyard while she was in the kitchen (where the back door is) and I kept going in and out but I was too small to open the door from outside so I would call “mom!” every time I wanted to come in (I guess I was part cat…). She sneezed at some point, and then I started calling her again, but after several rounds of in-and-out she was getting annoyed so she ignored me at first. After I called her name several times she finally said “What?!” And I said, “bless you.” 🙂
Her heart must have melted. Bless your tiny four-year-old self.
Yeah, she felt bad… 😉
Speaking of tiny selves, I stopped at the grocery store on my way home to stock up on summer fruits (local organic peaches, jumbo blueberries, strawberries) and some salad stuff since I know I’m not gonna want to go out this weekend (98 degrees tomorrow!) and walked past an adorable little girl, maybe two years old, sitting in the racecar cart while her dad put bags in the car. She waved and yelled “HI!” and I said “hi” back, then she said it again just after I passed her and I turned and waved. Then she waved back and said “BYE!” Totally made my day. ❤
Thanks for posting them, Mike!
Y’all have no idea how many times I’ve been late for work when these cuties come to visit and I just have to take one. more. picture!
Never mind about being late for work, you are so lucky to be able to get visit from a real live Bambi and his mom that it would be a sin to not take the time to enjoy them.
Thanks so much for sharing them! I love these sweeties.
They are so sweet, so lucky to have them come and visit. The only wildlife I’ve seen around here is coyotes and skunks and oh, can’t forget the bunny rabbits.
