Some people think that the rescued wombats at Sleepy Burrows lead easy, slow-paced lives of just eating and napping, but as this video shows, sometimes they get so busy that they need to eat and nap at the same time!

My dad used to sleep eat with no memory of it the next day, that’s why when my mother baked pies (which she didn’t often), my sister and I used to hide a pie each (lemon for my sister and buttescotfh for me) under our bed so we were sure to have some the next day.
It’s nice to see the wombat feels completely safe.
There right there is the definition of chillin’.
It’s Wednesday so there must be wombats. Or is it, there are wombats so it must be Wednesday. Either way, I look forward to Wombat Wednesdays and the wombat posts. Mike, you have made so many of us fall in love with these critters. Thanks.
p.s. Too darn hot here in Massachusetts. Hottest July on record so far.
Impressive multitasking!
