Wonders of the Human Body

It is well known that white blood cells play a vital role in the body’s immune system by attacking disease and other foreign invaders. But until recently, the exact means of this protection has been unclear. Now, thanks to ultra-magnification microscopes, we can see that each cell has a yappy nucleus that chases infections out of the body and up a tree.

The fact that you looked at this picture and came up with a story about a white blood is a wonder to me. Mike, you are truly a treasure!

I considered slapping my knee but settled for laughing out loud. Again, brain to science, Mike!

I like the idea of my white blood cells being tiny doggies chasing away the bad germs.

Thanks Mike, I always believed that the mind is important to fighting illness but how to best use the power of the mind? Thanks to you now I will be able to visualize the yappy nucleus in my white blood cells viciously attacking whatever ails me.

Yappy nucleus indeed. Well done, Mike, very well done. πŸ‘

    The scrolldown did not disappoint.

Mike’s way of seeing what’s in a pic, never ceases to amaze me. So does this mean when I have an itch, it’s the little yappy, in the nucleus, chasing the infection up a tree?

Oh, bravo! just bravo! This is one of those posts where ya laugh out loud and then grab everyone in the vicinity so they can laugh too. Yappy nucleus… you may have made a new scientific discovery Mr. Mike.

Oh Tara you are probably in sync with those around you! I tell you, whenever I grab someone to see something (at this point I am laughing hysterically) they look at it…then look at me and shake their heads and roll their eyes. Sigh.

So this is what the doctors are keeping track of in my weekly blood tests. And it explains why I feel so dog tired all the time!
And why I bark at people when they wake me from my naps!
    Thanks, Mike!

To the tune of the Hallelujah Chorus:

    Brain to Science!
    Brain to Science.
Brain to Science, Brain to Science; to Science, the Brain!
    For NOMTOM’s Brain omnipotent reigneth.
Brain to Science! Brain to Science! (Et cetera.)

That really does look like a white blood cell, but I certainly wouldn’t thought of it!πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜†

I’m reminded of “Fantastic Voyage” where Donald Pleasance gets gobbled up by a white cell.
