The sassy pygmy hippo turns one year old
Has it been a year already? Penelope the pygmy hippo has reached her first birthday, and her caregivers at the Toronto Zoo have put together a tribute to her first year with mother Kindia, from her ultrasound, to meeting her neighbors, brunches with mama, and lots of sass, including the inevitable “I must chomp this” moment (via Lois M.)
Never has this one been more appropriate! (Well, except for Fiona’s birthday…)
She really is a sassy little whippersnapper! What a joy to watch mama and bebbeh interact. 💕💕💕
It’s funny that toddlers are the same in every species.
Boy, ain’t that the truth!
Squee!
Did Fiona grow that fast in one year too? Still such a cutie!
I want a pygmy hippopotamus for Christmas. Only a pygmy hippopotamus will do.
