“I honestly don’t know what I was expecting here, but it’s just that the other guys in the troop were raving about the stuff, going on and on about how crunchy and delicious it was, and then to actually see it for the first time and it’s just this limp flat thing… I dunno, man, I think someone’s goofin’ on me.”

Looks like some pomegranate seeds in there… just get some oil and vinegar and whip up a nice pomegranate vinaigrette and you’re lettuce will be yummy.
*pokes belly*
*your lettuce*
I love apes. I find them fascinating. However, I have never seen a bebeh chimp, and my head just splorted. PSSST little one. Lettuce is extremely disappointing…..
Somehow I didn’t realize baby chimps were so tiny…The intelligent little face, the fingers, the prehensile toes, so, so sweet.
Switch it up for romaine lettuce and it would be so much better. And what a cutie pie!!
You know little one, I dislike green leaf lettuce as well as it always tastes and smells ‘musty’ to me. Try red leaf or Bibb, sweeter and no mustiness.
I usually go for the butter lettuce.
A little arugula, a little radicchio, some endive …
Ok you two, we have a good salad on the go. I love my bitter greens along with my sweet! (Really dislike the green leaf, did I mention that?…)
As far as I’m concerned he can have anything he wants. Who could ever say “no” to that face?? 💕💕💕
Oh, crap, that’s so doggone adorable I may just go have a salad. Am loving the ear to torso ration in this image.
I have the same reaction, baby!
My fave is a combo of baby spinach and red butter lettuce. Sweetish, not at all bitter, and not too crunchy.
Spinach and arugula here!
