As the Crow Fries
Was this in the bird link yesterday? Or another recent one? I know it was in something. I had fries the other day at work. I never finish them; I would have been happy to share, but the birdies don’t come visit me when I eat outside in the cafeteria courtyard. Cinderella, I am not.
Yes, this was in the link with birds, and I liked it so much I had to use it.
That’s me with my hubby. I try not to order fries when we’re out and get a salad or fruit. But I loooovvvve them so I’ll steal one or two ….. or more when he has them on his plate. Just hope birdie can find a place to eat them in peace ’cause I know he’s not going to be able to swallow all of them at once.

Hi Boidie, can I have some of your fries? Fries are my kryptonite…. This past winter I was in a work depression and gained a good 10 lbs. Since Spring I have been running and watching what I eat and have lost most of it. However, I am considering having a burger with fries this long weekend.
I saw a crow outside Costco a few weeks ago doing that. Someone had deliberately or accidentally dropped fries on the ground. The pigeons were trying to eat them as fast as they could, but a crow picked up several fries and flew away.
A few seconds later ‘he’ was back to get more fries. I’m assuming it was the same bird and that he had stashed some away and was coming back for more before they were all gone. They are smart birds after all.
