I love, love, love, that Toronto has a special swim time for dogs, even if it’s just a few hours at the end of the summer.

And Hickory must have brought some onions with him or something. Couldn’t see the video but I will watch when I get home.

The rescue stories are so wonderful – but I have to admit a real soft spot for Heffalumps. I’d love to have an interaction with one some day.

My aunt just got back from a trip to Africa (South Africa, I think). They went on a safari and she got video of a heffalump family (including baby!). Didn’t get to actually interact with them, of course; just took video from the vehicle.

I remember riding an elephant once when I was a kid (would have been in the mid-’80s). Of course that was a circus/fair thing and I wouldn’t do it today (or go to a circus that included elephant rides, for that matter).

I’m not sure what was sweeter, the man almost crying when he met his canine soulmate or that elephant returning to the sanctuary where she felt safe to give birth

I felt the same way. For me, it’s Heffalump baby by a hair, but really, it’s all onion-chopping to me.

If I worked in that elephant sanctuary and the elephant came back to show her baby my heart would have burst.

I am glad that the story about Mr.B’s adoption was appreciated by so many.I was fortunate to have read it 5 minutes before yahoo! erased it from their homepage and had it in history to share!

Just out of curiosity, why would yahoo! erase such a sweet story from their homepage? I’m not familiar with yahoo! so maybe that’s a dumb question. ๐Ÿ˜Š

        Not a dumb question.
When Yahoo! changed CEOs it went into the toilet.Articles about video footages without the video or links, really slanted and biased news reporting, really badly written news articles with literal nonsense.in them, and an “awful white people”/”awful black people” race baiting and fomenting reporting structure. It’s a real train wreck, changed from being PC web browser supportive, to a smartphone orientation.

And for genuine, serious issues that are actually a matter of needed debate they state their position and viewpoint, and then dont allow commenting by not providing a comments section for that matter.

Yahoo’s home page is constantly being updated with links to latest stories. Older articles are still available, just not linked from the home page.

Your answer is more precise.Thank you.

I would like to add, though, Yahoo!’s article drop protocol is also messed up.It’s determined by ad link clicks on one hand,Yahoo!’s political agenda on another.
