The Cutetropolis Blight Opera Company is pleased to present Poochini’s classic opera Butterfly Madame, the tragic tale of Choo-Choo Sandwich, the humble geisha who pines for her lost love Lieutenant Tinkertoy before moving on and opening a bawdy house for metamorphic insects, becoming rich and successful and living happily ever after until she dies tragically because that’s just what happens in these things.

The other cat does not realize he’s in an opera…
S/he appears caught up in the performance of what appears to be an emotionally wrenching aria.
Maybe we should ask “Aria all right?”
That’s Yamaha, Choo-Choo Sandwich’s maid.
So it’s not Suzuki – I always get that one wrong 🙂
Aria all right…🤣🤣😂
I think other cat is just use to his housemate spontaneously breaking out in song.
Lt. Tinkertoy! Snrk!
In honor of the hovertext:
I was looking for that and my first attempt didn’t find it (and I’m at work, so…!
I am weeping with laughter – brilliant. I love the Bad Lip Reading site, too, especially the political clips. Nutsy people with too much time on their hands – God bless ’em.
Adore the operatic feline. “Bawdy House for metamorphic insects – where does he get ’em???? Thanks, Mike.
I thought the composer was Purrcini. EIther way, this is an opera I’d go see. Many people already think an opera is just cauterwaling anyways.
I didn’t even see the other cat until I read the comments!
Poochini! 😋
I’ve never heard of any group/band/choir/orchestra who actually performed misheard lyrics. I didn’t know that was even a thing. Pure genius!!!! 👍
If you could take a tour of Mike’s brain, would you? You might never view reality the same way again. 😁
I love”blight opera”. That’s the kind of opera I could get into.
“because that’s just what happens in these things”:
Thank you for this, Wuyizidi, it’s great!
I made the mistake of reading some of the YouTube comments. It baffles me how many commenters don’t like this one. It seems clear to me that the filmmaker actually loves opera—how else could she make such a funny film about it? Oh, well, to each his own, she said as she kissed her cow.
You know that other cat is thinking Whatta Diva
There are two types of cats in this world: Maru’s and Hana’s.
CHOO CHOO SANDWICH!!!
Best name ever!
“O For tuna” I am rolling on the floor with my cat! You winnnnn!
