Well, This Is Awkward

“Hey, Mom, you won’t believe the luck I had at the dog park! There was this dufus with a super-cool toy and he wouldn’t let me play with it but then Milo and Queenie, the ones who always pick on the newbies, they start chasing him around and he drops the toy and his mom hustles him outta there, so guess who just scored a super-cool toy? And the best part is that I’ll never see that loser aga–”

Aw, I saw this a few days ago. Not to nuff, but I like the comment I saw with it better, something along the lines of the dog getting his teddy bear out to show to another dog on the road. Or maybe I just need a sweet puppy story today.

That’s okay, yours is still funny. I’m just cranky, and tired, and just spilled tea all over my desk, and myself, and my sleeve is wet and cold, and of course I’m wearing a white sweater, and it’s only 9:14 am and I need a puppy and a nap.

We all need a puppy and a nap.

            Agreed.

Heck, if that’s not a recipe for bliss, I don’t know what is. ❤

I’m with you, I need positive slants, especially on grey days. I’d like to think the dog with the toy wants to share. (Yeah, I can be sappy.) And a puppy and a nap is an excellent idea. I’ve been napping with Bibi a lot lately—I just can’t get through a whole day without it. Change in barometric pressure? Change in daylight? I dunno.

I recently read about a dog who’d dropped his/her toy out the window while in traffic and the driver was amazed that none of the other drivers got upset when he stopped to retrieve the toy. Maybe this is part of that same story?

      That’s an encouraging story.

Isn’t it? The picture is from the Dogspotting group on Facebook. Here’s the original caption: “The cutest moment of my life, the brown doggie went back inside the car to grab the stuffed animals to offer it to the other doggie !!!”

I was once stuck in hurricane evacuations traffic and my dog *desperately needed to pee. He finally jumped out and peed about a gallon, a even though space for several cars opened up in front of us, nobody cut in. People can be very nice when dogs are concerned.
