I realize that fall is coming and with it lower temperatures, so I appreciate the thought, I really do. I just thought that this would be a good time to remind you that I’m a freaking cat and I have a fur coat!

This is one sour puss who I don’t think likes its picture being taken, or wearing the too small of a sweater and its’ owner may want to give it plenty of space once they get home. They’ll be lucky to get home without a scratch, hiss, growl or all of the above.

Wowza!!! DefCon 10++++ level of disapproval. Almost expect lasers to be shooting out of the eyes. Only thing I can think of is that sweater is being used as an alternative to the cone of shame and to prevent kitty from scratching/licking a sore spot. And yes, give kitty lots of room once you’re home and check your shoes for the next …. oh let’s say gazillon years??!!

You think that’s bad, check out the Shed Defender, the onesie that has been mocked so roundly for people putting their dogs in it to lower the amount they shed all over the house. It also comes in cat sizes. Floofy kitty here is very lucky, at least their legs are uncovered! The Shed Defender, by contrast, covers not only the torso but also the legs down to the feet. I cannot IMAGINE putting a cat in one! (On the other hand, we did put Melody in one when she got a nip that caused a nick in her skin over her muscular behind that was absolutely impossible to keep bandaged otherwise. That is the ONLY excuse I can think of for clothing any animal in one of those silly things!)
