Derpy Deer!
Just no bath salts. That stuff will mess you up.
I’d advise against Epsom salts, too. Different mess, but still …
Though if there’s a pond nearby s/he could have a nice bath.

The eyelashes!
I was so distracted by the tongue that I didn’t even notice the eyelashes. Thank you for pointing them out – they are not to be believed! 😍
We used to have a deer that I called “Deerzilla” because she was the biggest one that came into our yard. She had eyelashes to die for- the longest I’ve seen on a deer. She was so sweet. She was the first one that would take food from my hand. I’m thinking she’s not with us anymore because I haven’t seen her for a couple of years. She was at least 9, which is pretty good for a deer (average, in the wild, is half that).
Has anyone here been following ‘Fat Bear Week’? Beadnose, last year’s winner hasn’t been seen this year, which clenches my heart. I am voting for the glorious Holly this year. Not only is she spectacular but she is one who adopted an orphan cub.

Your wish (salt block, corn, deer food) is my command, you adorable deer. Maybe the deer is washing windows for food.
Recently saw a video of a moose licking cars in a parking lot in Jasper (Canadian Rockies). If it was salted highway weather one might understand. But looks like it was just for the feel of it!
Back in my Boy Scout days, they told us not to pee on trees, because deer would gnaw on the spot to get the salt, damaging the bark and potentially killing the tree. It’s possible someone peed on a car.
Regarding this pic: I note some loose fur stuck to the little lady’s tongue. Maybe the rude tourists interrupted bath time?
