Raccoons photobomb wedding shoot, mama lion rescues cub, and butterfly gets new wing, in today’s links.
And finally: The Assault on Fort Kitten

Gee, these look familiar…
I want a pink puppy.
Piglet is adorable, but her humans had to do a LOT of work with her. Did you read the part about the nearly constant screaming? These people are heroic on many levels. I don’t think I could do it, but I’m so glad they did.
Kitten fort is faboo.
Yes, I would not actually want a pink puppy if it meant all the issues (for the puppy’s sake more than my own, but I also am not in a position to have a dog at all, really, let alone a special needs one).
But he’s still adorable.
Indeed he is! A most boopable, lovable dog.
Aw…. just as cute with a fresh morning brain as a tired night night brain. Love the attach kitty and the kitten fort.
Fabulous linkies. Those wedding crasher trash pandas were fantastic (as was the bride’s gown)! Piglet made me choke up–such a happy puppers. Kitten in fort, your sibling will be like that for the rest of their lives.
But mama lion won the morning.
The Piglet story is SO SWEET! How awesome is that?๐คฉ
And the 16 kitties was EXACTLY what I needed this morning. So cute and FUNNY. ๐ I think my fav has to be the cat that just dropped to the floor to protest his new leash. Very effective. Wish I could do that! ๐
Mama rescuing her cub was exactly what i needed after that horrific elephant cliff accident this week
Mama lion definitely wins the day! Mom love is incredibly powerful. Love the 16 cat posts, love the Piglet story – what a great lesson to teach those school kids. But I must admit, I most enjoyed the bride, groom and trash pandas (also love her dress!!!). ๐๐๐๐
I found the story about the deaf/blind pup very encouraging – my Clemmie bun has just been diagnosed with glaucoma in her remaining eye – we think she’s deaf because of previous bouts of vestibular disease – and I’m so afraid she may become deaf/blind. She’s on meds to keep her eye pressure down, so we’ll see.
keeping fingers crossed for your sweetie.
Dear Clementine. Whatever happens with her eye, sheโll thrive on your love and devotion.
