Dog shelter hero, pet popes, dog mothers raccoon, and more animals on the field, in today’s links.
And finally: Wait, Is That Uncle Marvin?
Since we’re looking at animals invading games, these black cats watched yesterday’s story about a black cat interrupting Monday Night Football with keen interest.

A heart made up of hundreds of good doggies. Okay, I’m done for now.
(Though am I missing something or is there not actually a video in that article that twice mentions a video?)
There are indeed no videos on that page. But you can see some at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq82J3fexxA
and his Patreon page (WARNING: upsetting subject matter): https://www.patreon.com/sashashelter
Thanks! Will watch later.
Excellent links!! Sasha and his shelter!!! πππ And OMG, that male kitty with such a strong maternal instinct! The senior dog helping to raise a racoon baby! β€ Those dogs/cats with the crocs – most of them look kinda pleased with themselves. Okay, a few of them look pleased – the rest look either bewildered or like they’re plotting their revenge. π
Kitties with Papa Harrow: βWhereβs the meelks?βπ
Surprised that no one’s brought up touchdown squirrel. Who apparently scored more than Kent that day.
I’ve never seen touchdown squirrel but it’s awesome! I only hope they gave the poor thing a much deserved drink of water. And maybe some nuts.
Ok. It’s a good think our pets love us so much because the humiliation of having to wear those croc-hats… I just don’t know. π
And can I nominate Sasha’s sanctuary for Giving Tuesday? or is it too early for that.
Papa Harrow is a worthy successor to the late Grandpa Mason, who sadly died in September.
