Always on the lookout for new ways to squeeze more productivity from workers, offices have invested in a broad array of surveillance products. The latest is known as the under-monitor monitor, an unseen supervisor who can lurk from one cubicle to the next to verify that employees are slaving away and not playing games or goofing off on Twitter or some nonsense.

If I had that kind of surveillance under my monitor it would kill my productivity not help it. I would spend all day giving that kitty chin scritches.
