Lion cub and otter make one odd couple

I’d be lion if I said this wasn’t otterly adorable: In an animal sanctuary in South Africa, a lion cub named Kumari gets to play with pals such as a dog and hyena, but Kumari’s best pal is an otter named Moses, who doesn’t seem to mind being smooshed under the weight of a frisky lion cub.

    Adorable….but….nuffer moment here: this lady raised the mom from a cub, so if lioness mama wasn’t able to be reintroduced to the wild, why was she introduced to a lion papa to breed another captive cub who has to be brought up by humans?
