OMG this face.
This looks like heaven.
Too bad I can’t adopt a slew of wawas to treat my depression.
Okay, actually, this is even more heaven, because nap.
What a wonderful guy to adopt all these lovlies! I canโt imagine having that many pups to cuddle me!๐
The little one in the blue hoodie kilt me ded.
Great links today. Has Carrot’s family considered asking his advice on their investments? That’s one scary smart cat. The pictures of the bumble bees asleep in the flowers with pollen on their butts are very beautiful and touching – the opposite of nature red in tooth and claw.
OMG, the elephant post had me crying tears of joy. The Sheldon Trust is doing amazing things to help elephants and to have their former orphans come back with their own babies just thrills me so much. Don’t forget to watch the videos. That the teeny tiny newborn heffalump, just ded. Didn’t realize they came that small. Have to read other links later.
I had previously adopted 2 rescues, but seeing that tiny babyโsquee!โcaused me to make a monthly donation from now on. Such good work they do! I LOVE how the mamas bring back their babies to show to the staff. Such a CUTE bebeh!๐๐๐
I wanted that elephant video to go on forever. Wish I had heffalumps tramping up to my house! There’s just snow–a lot–after yesterday’s Colorado snowpocalypse.
Love Carrot the cat. The other linkies have to wait, but things are off to a good start today!
I looove Carrot the cat!! He sounds like a major pain in the butt… in the best possible way. Such a smart little furball. And wawa guy – how I envy him!! ๐๐๐
I saw Carrot the cat on the Dodo, I think. I know I laughed OUT LOUD at the culmination of the video. What a smart cat! Give it up guy, you have been owned!!๐
Bees really do sleep in flowers, but not with butts hanging out. This is what they looked like when I caught them bee-napping on a chilly day in the Mojave:

So lovely. And the beauty of the desert. Wow.
The touching beauty of bees sleeping in flowers is so intense for me that I don’t know what to do with myself.
Oh, my goodness, that is truly beautiful, Diane in Los Angeles! Thank you for posting it here!
Exquisite!
Carrot Psyched that guy out. Like a poker game! I see your window and raise you one more!
And Chiwawa guy… Definitely my version of heaven. Helping so many tiny ones.
Finished reading rest of links. Wawas in bubble bath, I’m done for the day. It’s a toss up on what’s cuter – that or the baby heffalumps. And I’m about to jump on a plane to Japan to adopt the kitty trio found in the park. Hmmm, actually hubby IS going to Japan in Jan/Feb, wonder if they’d still be available and the logistics for bringing animals in to the States from overseas??
