I recall that the dig had been going poorly for us that summer. Our team had excavated a large area of the Kalamari desert with nothing to show for our efforts save for a pair of hamsters and a budgerigar. Then one day two of the interns burst into my tent with breathless news: Toebeans! After many hours of careful digging and brushing away of dirt, there was our prize: A perfectly preserved corgi.
Really digging this photo, Sharon H.
Hahahahaha! Watch out for the quicklycookedsand!
Thanks, Allein. That’s precisely where my mind went.
Had to be done. (Though Kalimari Desert is apparently a Mario Kart thing, for what it’s worth.)
Mike and all the clever commenters, you guys are killing me today!!!!!! Mike you are just on a roll, what was in your coffee this morning??? This one and the previous one, I sat and laughed (silently of course as I’m supposed to be “working”) before I even managed to scroll down and see the picture. Picture and story go together perfectly.
Yes Mike, once again you’ve made my day!
But I have to say that I am not sure the corgi was perfectly preserved…it seems that the tip of one ear may have been lost 😁.
Somebody (me) kiss Sleeping Beautifully to wake her/him.
Oh my I just saw the “privacy dirt” text…snort 😂😁
