    Is this a Wombat Wonderland?

Yes. Yes it is. I want to go to there.

You want to take a walk in it?

Yes, and the wombat is wondering if Santa used the Keto diet or went with the Paleo diet or the cabbage soup diet.

Yes Santa appears to be somewhat compromised on both the jolly and the jiggly belly.

I’ve never wanted to be a Santa before, but now it’s all I can think about.

Lets take a moment to think positive thoughts about the people who have the courage to play Santa.I worked as a Mall Santa in the 80s and it is’nt easy.Think about every conceivable curve-ball that can get thrown at you,and thats exactly what they have to deal with on a daily basis.Sometimes twice.
If it were easy everyone would do it.

Sorry. I consider myself told. Didn’t think about it from that perspective Murkle.

I hope I didnt come off as “telling”,my intent was sharing information only.
I am sure being a “wombat Santa” is an entirely different kettle of corn.

And now you’ve got parents who want pictures of their kids crying on Santa’s lap. Ugh.

(We have one such picture from my second Christmas, when I was a little over a year old. My brother has a look on his face and I can’t decide if it’s skepticism at this Santa guy or annoyance at me. 😀 The next year’s picture is just my brother and on the back it says “Allein didn’t like Santa.”)

I do think positive thoughts about them! I can’t imagine what that’s like, though David Sedaris’s essays gave me some insight into the job.

Maybe I just want to be a wombat Santa.

Even wombats have Christmas wishes. If I had to be a Santa, I’d only want to see animals ( well maybe not just “every animal”). They would have to be easier than dealing with some children and some of their parents or at least it appears that way.
